Player Biography
Bojinov made his Serie A debut with U.S. Lecce in 2002 at the age of 15, making him the youngest foreign player to play in Serie A.
He soon caught the attention of Fiorentina signing for them in January 2005 and then being sold to Juventus in the summer of 2006 in exchange for Adrian Mutu.
Bojinov then signed for Manchester City in July 2008 but a series of injuries kept him out of the first team. Parma picked him up on loan with an option to buy at the end of the 2009/10 season.
Following an impressive season as Parma’s top scorer with 8 goals he made the move to Parma permanent by signing a 5 year contract in July 2010.
