Player Biography
Dzemaili started out with FC Zurich and after 2 seasons attracted the attention of Bolton Wanderers, signing for them in 2007.
Unfortunately Blerim’s time at Bolton was plagued by injuries which then saw him being sold to Torino a year later.
Parma managed to secure Dzemaili on a season long loan in exchange for Daniele Vantaggiato following Torino’s relegation to Serie B.
Dzemaili had an impressive season at Parma in spite of being injured for the latter half but it was enough for the co-ownership option to be taken up on.
