Player Biography
Massimo started out his youth career in Milan before moving to local fourth division side Pro Sesto in 1998. He got his break through with Treviso in Serie B in 2003 playing in 44 of the 46 games that season.
His performances with Treviso earned him a move to newly promoted Serie A side Cagliari in 2004 where over two seasons he missed just five games of a possible seventy seven.
Gobbi was then moved to Fiorentina where he was involved in a deal that also brought former Parma player Reginaldo to Florence.
After four seasons with Fiorentina his contract expired and he became a free agent before choosing to join Parma for three years in August 2010.
