Parma defender Luca Antonelli today committed his future to the club signing a new five year contract and finally putting an end to rumours of a move Inter Milan.

“I am delighted to be able to prolong my stay here and I would like to thank the President for allowing me to do so.”

“It  is every players dream to play for their country and I hope to play well enough during the season to earn that honour.”

“Against Brescia it is important to get the season off to a good start and so of course  we hope to be able to bring home three points.”

“Our objective as always is to reach 40 points as soon as possible, once that is done we can think about aiming higher.”
