Parma’s new midfield signing Massimo Gobbi was presented today at Collecchio training centre and had a few words to say at the press conference.

“I realised as soon as Parma approached me with an offer that it would be the right choice. It is a team with great players and I feel that we can do well in the coming season.”

“I had four great years in Florence and was sad to leave, but now my only passion is for Parma and hope to do well for the club and help them progress in their ambitions.”

“I am most comfortable in midfield by can also play at left back as I did many times at Fiorentina. I think I can fit in well with the squad in spite of being one of the older players here!”
