Paolo Castellini  has left to join former Parma coach Claudio Ranieri at Roma on loan.

Ranieri had been a great admirer of the left back during his stay at the club and it’s though he’s been brought in as back up to John Arne Riise.

Castellini had been one of the longest serving members of the current squad since joining Parma in 2006 from Real Betis.

During his four years Paolo had been ever present in the team making a total of 137 appearances for the club.
