10′ Cipriani (SPAL), 44′, 56′, 60′ Bojinov (PAR)

A second half Valeri Bojinov hat trick helped Parma to a 3-1 win over local third division side Spal yesterday afternoon.

Spal took a surprise lead through Cipriani after he connected with a Paolo Rossi cross to take it past Mirante at his right hand post. However Parma fought back with chances twice from Paloschi and Dzemaili.

However Spal keeper Ravaglia kept them at bay until just before half time when Bojinov finally equalised.

In the second half Crespo caused the Spal defence some trouble and eventually it paid off as he set up Bojinov for his second goal of the game. Bojinov then completed his hat trick barely five minutes later after connecting with a superb Valiani through ball to sweep the ball past Capecchi.
