After Parma’s 2-0 victory over Bari, Valeri Bojinov spoke of how the teams performance was the perfect response after the loss to Atalanta.

“To me the three points are more important than scoring a goal but I am glad it helped the team. After the way we performed against Atalanta this was the perfect response to get us back on track.”

“The goal itself was just instinct, I had tried it a few times in training from different positions and I’m glad it worked out this time. Sooner or later we had to break the deadlock and this was an important goal that helped us to win.”

“I dedicate the goal not only to the fans of Parma but to the fans of Lecce where I spent six wonderful years  and was very happy to score against their fierce rivals Bari. I hope they enjoyed the goal as much as I did.”
