Sunday, 13 December 2009Panucci: “We must keep working”

Christian Panucci

An exuberant Christian Panucci spoke to fcparma.com after the match today, both about the terrific derby victory over Bologna but also looking forward to next weeks match against AS Roma.

“We played fantastically and it would’ve been a shame if we hadn’t won. We are delighted with the result and our position in Serie A but we can’t afford to get complacent.”

“I am deligheted to finally score my first goal for Parma, especially as it was such an important goal that brought us back into the match. I have dedicated that goal to both my mother and my girlfriend, two of the most important women in my life.”

“Of course I’ll be looking forward to facing Roma next Sunday a team where I spent so much of my career, it will be very emotional. But to me the only thing that matters is Parma and continuing to do well for the team.”

“Everyone is putting their heart and soul into each match and so long as we continue to do this we can keep our great form going.”
