At the presentation press conference today Parma striker Valeri Bojinov spoke of his joy at being able to make his stay here permanent.

“I’m delighted to be able to remain here as I really enjoyed my year on loan with Parma and would like to thank Manchester City in their understanding.”

“I love everything about this city and the fans. I hope to repay their faith in me by continuing to score important goals hopefully even reaching double figures.”

“Marino is a good coach with an attacking football philosophy similar to that of Zeman just being slightly better at defending! You will see that we’re going to enjoy our football this season.”

“Physically I feel great and I am thankful for Parma and Guidolin being patient with me last season as I recovered from two years of inactivity so I hope to be able to repay the fans faith in me once the season kicks off.”
