Former Parma starlet Daniele Dessena currently on loan at Cagliari gave his thoughts to a local newspaper today about the upcoming clash against his childhood club.

“I expect Parma will be out for revenge against us and we will need to be very careful against them on Sunday.”

“Parma are a great team who are just going through a rough patch at the moment and I hope they will get their season back on track and begin climbing the table as soon as possible.”

“It’s unfortunate that I won’t be able to play due to my knee injury but I hope to recovery quickly in order to be able to help Cagliari during this important part of the season.”

Dessena is enjoying a good season in spite of the injury making 18 appearances and scoring two goals (one of which was against Parma back in September).
