Speaking after training today Parma manager Francesco Guidolin gave his thoughts on the upcoming match against Bari.

“It’s going to be a very difficult game for us as Bari are a strong team who are having a very good season, like Parma they have been hailed as the surprises of Serie A.”

“Both of our clubs have had very similar seasons with a strong start followed by a mid season dip in form but also quietly achieved safety from relegation. Nevertheless it’s imperative we strive to win on Sunday.”

“The win at the Tardini earlier in the season counts for nothing as games are always very different when playing away from home and we’ll have to be careful.”

“Bari is the start of a tough week for us as we welcome Milan in midweek before having to travel to Verona on Sunday so it’s important to continue our good form.”
