Saturday, 15 May 2010Guidolin: “I will not be here next season”

Parma manager Francesco Guidolin formally announced in a brief statement today that he won’t be at Parma next season.
“I announce that next season I will no longer be the coach of Parma. In any case I leave the club without controversy after what has truly been a great experience.”
Francesco Guidolin took over the Parma post in September 2008 bringing the team from Serie B to top flight midtable safety within two seasons.
Parma chairman Tommaso Ghirardi confessed his disappointment at the news. “We had a long term plan that I thought we could continue but our Coach has recieved other offers that need evaluating.”
In any case Guidolin is expected to take over at Udinese following the final Serie A match against Livorno tomorrow while there is currently no word on a potential replacement for the Parma bench.
