Speaking to reporters after the match against Juventus, Parma manager Francesco Guidolin gave his thoughts on the teams performance.

“We lost to a Juventus team that never really got into the game, we created alot but never really managed to break down their defence and it is very difficult to string passes together when there are so many behind the ball.”

“Unfortunately we lack that special player that can create something and unlock opposition defences. We also seem to be conceding a worrying number of goals from corner kicks.”

“However for despite the loss we put in a good performance against a team of Juventus’ reputation, which isn’t bad for a team that was tipped to be struggling against relegation!”
