Parma’s Kenyan international midfielder McDonald Mariga has attracted the attention of Fiorentina who hope to add to their squad during the transfer window.

Fiorentina manager Cesare Prandelli has long been and admirer of Mariga’s playing ability but Parma were quick to deny any such move would be taking place.

“I am very busy and don’t want to waste time because Mariga is not for sale” spoke Parma director Pietro Leonardi on a local radio station this morning.

In other news the conflict between Parma and Juventus over the recalling of on loan Davide Lanzafame will be resolved soon according to the players agent.

Parma are determined to hold on to the striker unless adequate compensation can be reached in the form of left back Paolo De Ceglie or midfielder Sebastian Giovinco.
