Monday, 18 January 2010Mirante: “I want to stay here for a long time”

While at a press conference Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante spoke about the Udinese game yesterday but also briefly about his long term ambitions with the club.
“The game started well for us as we set about with our plan, and when the penalty was awarded Handanovic did very well as he did throughout the entire game.”
“But then came the red card and we were forced to defend for the rest of the game. We did well managing to restrict Udinese’s opportunities to a few counter-attacks.”
“Despite the numerical disadvantage we played well throughout the entire game and I think 0-0 is a very positive result.
“Usually when you miss a penalty and go a man down are games you lose but thankfully we managed to hold on showing great strength and determination.”
“I enjoy playing for Parma, I feel important here and hope to stay for a long time.”
