While speaking to journalists Parma captain Stefano Morrone apologised to fans for what he called “the worst performance in years” against Catania yesterday.

“We were never in the game at all, Catania completely out played us and during the week we’ll have to look at the reasons how that managed to happen.”

“However looking towards Sunday I think we can use this result to our advantage. Inter are a great team and we really aren’t expected to do much against them.”

“We have nothing to lose and it’s the perfect opportunity to redeem ourselves for yesterdays awful performance.”

“I want to apologise to the fans for what has to be the worst game I’ve seen in years, but we need them  to stand by us and we’ll try give them something to cheer about on Sunday.”
