Monday, 15 February 2010Morrone: “Fatigue was definitely a factor”

Parma captain Stefano Morrone spoke about the defeat to Lazio yesterday giving his thoughts on the teams overall performance.

“It was a hard fought game and before we went a goal down we were well in the game creating dangerous opportunities.”

“However once the first goal went in we really struggled with fatigue, perhaps this was due to the effort we put in against Inter catching up on us but once the second goal went in it was game over.”

“Paloschi’s injury was extremely unfortunate, he’s an amazing person who had done everything to get back to playing again and will be sorely on the pitch.”
