Sunday, 31 January 2010Parma v Inter Milan called off due to snowfall

This afternoons Serie A match against Inter Milan has been called off due to heavy snowfall that occurred overnight.

The pitch was covered by protective tarpaulin but a sheet of ice had developed in the stands making the stadium unsafe for supporters.

Lega Calcio has called off the game which has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 10 February.

Parma’s next match will be against Palermo at Renzo Barbera on Sunday 07 February.
