Sunday, 14 February 2010Serie A: Parma 0-2 Lazio
68′ Stendardo (LAZ), 88′ Zarate (LAZ)
Parma went down 2-0 to Lazio this afternoon continuing their slide down the table.
Biabiany managed possibly the miss of the season after 21 minutes when Antonelli got to the byline drawing the keeper out pulling back for Biabiany to fire wide from six yards.
Floccari found space through the Parma defence to fire straight at Mirante while Ledesma proved dangerous with a couple of free kicks but ultimately there were no goals at half time.
Alberto Paloschi replaced Bojinov at halftime but within five minutes he had to be taken off injured with a suspected thigh strain.
There was controversy as Paci was suspected of using his hands to keep the ball off the line while replays had showed that it may have been a goal anyway.
Moments later however Lazio took the lead when Stendardo connected with a corner taking advantage of a mistimed run by Mirante to head the ball into the back of the net.
It got worse for Parma as Jimenez got himself sent off for dissent while Lazio had a number of chances to extend their lead with Floccari and Kolarov both coming close.
Zarate however took full advantage of his chance in the final minutes tapping in Floccari’s cross from the left.
