Parma signed off the 2009-10 season with a magnificent 4-1 win against Livorno last Sunday with Hernan Crespo grabbing his first goal and an emotional farewell for Udinese bound coach Francesco Guidolin.
Biabiany started brightly for Parma bursting forward from a counter attack with a curling volley that stung the palms of debutant goalkeeper Bardi while Lanzafame failed to make the most of a Zaccardo knock down.
At the other end Mirante was at full stretch to deny Pultsch but then had to claw the ball off the line somewhat unconvincingly from a Raimondi header.
Lanzafame gave Parma the lead right on the stroke of half time with his right footed shot taking a decisive deflection before sneaking in at the bottom right hand corner.
Minutes after the restart Lanzafame doubled Parma’s lead adding his second rushing through Livorno to unleash a screamer from outside the area into the top corner.
Parma captain Morrone made it 3-0 moments later exchanging passes outside the area to have his shot sneak into the bottom corner out of Bardi’s reach.
Zaccardo almost made it 4 as he nodded wide from a freekick but Livorno got a goal back as Danilevicius bundled the ball over the line from a poorly cleared corner kick.
There was a dramatic end to the match as Hernan Crespo finally got his first goal since returning to the club connecting with Bojinov’s pass the place his shot inside the far post to a huge roar of approval from the Tardini faithful.
