As Italy prepare their bid to host Euro 2016 Parma has come under consideration as a possible host city.

However the Tardini would need to be renovated to meet current European stadium standards with a plan having already been drawn up.

This includes massive modernisation of all facilities aswell as construction of covers above each of the curva’s while increasing the capacity to 31,297 seats.

The project is expected to cost around 40 million euro pending FIGC approval.
