Parma midfielder Blerim Dzemaili may be out injured for the rest of the season as he sustained a serious injury during the match against Palermo on Saturday.

He was taken off in the first half after falling awkwardly twisting his knee and immediately being rushed to the local hospital.

According to the doctors report Dzemaili suffed a partial ligament injury to his left knee but as of yet recovery time can’t be set for definite.

The news comes as a devastating blow to Francesco Guidolins squad as he hopes to stop Parma’s free fall down the table following their sixth game without a win.
