Saturday, 07 August 2010Friendly: Cesena 1-1 Parma

19′ Giaccherini (CES), 32′ Paletta (PAR)

Parma were distinctly unimpressive as they struggled in the second game of the pre season tournament this evening.

Cesena striker Giaccherini opened the scoring and perhaps showing why Parma were wrong not to have signed him after all. Gabriel Paletta however levelled things up with his first goal for the club on 32 minutes before the match went to penalties.

Galloppa had his penalty saved before Paonessa coolly put his away but it was left to Cristiano Lucarelli to put Parma out of the shoot out with a very weak penalty that was saved easily by Antonioli.
